Your guided fishing trip begins at 8:00 AM when Bon Bon will meet you at the dock of your resort at either “The Angle” or in Kenora. Depending on weather, time of year, and peak fishing activity, Bon Bon will bring you to the best spots on the lake for the species of your choice.

Bon Bon will take you to a variety of (secret) spots on Lake of the Woods throughout the day to ensure the fishing action stays hot! Many guests choose to enjoy one of Bon Bon’s amazing shore lunches, prepared from your fresh catch on one of the beautiful islands on the lake. Fish is often accompanied by wild rice, fresh potatoes, beans and/or corn. Refillable water bottles are encouraged, but bottled water is provided. Guests are welcome to bring non-alcoholic drinks and snacks of their choice, just no bananas in the boat!

You can go for a swim, learn to clean fish like a pro, see the ancient snapping turtles who benefit from the fish scraps, or take a nap in the sun. If you prefer, you can pack your own lunch so as not to miss out on any noon-time fishing! You never know when the big one will bite!
